Bible studies at First Baptist DeQuincy are where you will find community, connection, relationships, and discipleship. Our Bible studies are multigenerational and meet every Sunday at 9:00 am. While each Bible study has a slightly different teaching style, every group covers the same passage of scripture each week. In addition to Sunday mornings, we have a group that gathers on a regular basis each Wednesday for fellowship, discipleship, and outreach where we have the opportunity to serve alongside one another. We encourage those looking for a Bible study to try multiple groups to see where you feel you fit best.

Bible Study – 9am Sundays | Students are taught in large group discussing how to apply passages of scripture to their lives.

Wednesday Nights – 5:45-7:00pm | Students spend time hanging out before a time of worship through teaching in large group.

Bible Studies – 9am Sundays | Kids meet in groups divided by grade level on Sunday mornings. These groups allows for kids to dig deeper into the lesson with activities. The lessons take kids through the Bible and show how every passage points to Jesus.

Wednesday Night AWANA – 5:45-7:00pm (during the school year only) | Our AWANA ministry builds on truths learned from 3 years old – 6th grade, and dives deeper into the need for a Redeemer, how the Holy Spirit helps us, and how to grow in our faith.

The Women’s Ministry at First Baptist DeQuincy exists, first and foremost, to disciple women. Through studying God’s word, sharing a meal, or simply fellowshipping with one another, we grow closer to Christ and closer to each other.

Women face unique challenges and pressures as they live out God’s design for them as women. The relationships they build with other women provide support, encouragement, and accountability as they live out their faith in their God-given role.
